Here in the U.S. there have numerous cases where people crossing the Mexican border were duped by their smugglers and sold into slavery. I would say that illegal immigration has the same relationship to human trafficking that porn does. One does not equal the other but there's overlap. While one impacts another obviously, I wish more attention was paid to the trafficking component, and less to the 'border crossing' or 'porous boundaries'. I don't see that as the problem- more the demand for this sort of oppressive trade- the power involved, and how these networks get set up in the first place. A recent news story which involved human trafficking and 'The Jungle' refugee in France pointed to a lot of immigration issues as well.
